On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, Shady El Kassas, Assistant Principal for Academics at Sharjah American International School-Sharjah Campus, was named top Middle East Education Influencer at The Middle East School Leadership Conference 2018 (MESLC), which was held at Le Meridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre. Along with the main award, all finalists in the Middle East Education Influencer Award were recognised for the valuable contributions they continue to make in the region’s education sector.
An Education Influencer is someone who is a visible trendsetter and opinion former, within the education sector. This is someone who is actively working to improve teacher and student performance both online and offline.
Teach Middle East initiated The Middle East Education Influencer Award to recognise educators who consistently share good practice with their colleagues, thus influencing teaching and learning in classrooms across the region.
