Her Excellency Dr. Amal Al-Qubaisi: National Day celebrations highlight the living memory of significant achievements

H.E. Dr. Amal Al-Qubaisi, First Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council and Director General of the Abu Dhabi Education Council, congratulated the UAE’s prudent leadership on the UAE’s 43rd National Day.

“On the occasion of the 43rd UAE National Day, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the UAE President, H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and H.H. General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Members of the Supreme Council & the Crown Prince and UAE people,” said Dr. Al-Qubaisi.

“This year’s celebrations reflect the great achievements of our prudent leadership. It’s the living memory of strong will and determination,” added ADEC’s DG.

“We are now celebrating the 43rd anniversary of the union which was founded by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE, during which UAE has achieved progress and prosperity and succeeded in establishing the Federal National Council to strengthen the Shura principal,” said Her Excellency.

Dr. Al-Qubaisi commended the unlimited support and guidance provided by the UAE’s prudent leadership in education. “Education is a strategic priority that aims to enhance the educational structure while enabling it to perform a vital role in development,” emphasised Dr. Al Qubaisi.

ADEC’s Director General congratulated Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak- Mother of the Nation- Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, President of the General Women’s Union, Chairwoman of Motherhood and Childhood Supreme Council.

“Through more than 40 years of constant giving, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak accomplished many gains for Emirati women, and their achievements today clearly bear her mark,” she said

“Sheikha Fatima has dedicated her efforts to the UAE society at large. She has sought, since the foundation of the Federation, to raise the status of UAE women. She has always focused on promoting a women’s status, whether among mothers, workers or students,” she added.

“Her Highness’s constant support led UAE to top Arab countries in terms of equality and ability among women and to rank number one in the world for treating women with respect and dignity,” Dr. Al Qubaisi indicated. “Thanks to Sheikha Fatima’s efforts and support, the UAE ratio of females to males in education is the highest in the world,” she concluded.
