Richard Henwood is head of Maths at Cranleigh Abu Dhabi
There is cause for much celebration at Cranleigh Abu Dhabi. The new school year has found both staff and students at the school in high spirits. Ten of the school’s Year 10 students sat their IGCSE exams and all received A* in their respective subjects.
Prior to them sitting the exam, Mr Richard Henwood, Head of Maths, declared to his five Math students that he would shave his head, if they all received the top A* grade. They did not disappoint.
On Wednesday, August 31, 2016, Mr Henwood kept his word and got his head shaved during general assembly.
Congratulations to Mr Henwood and all the teachers involved in driving these students to academic success!
Special congratulations to all the students who got A*s, including Mr Henwood’s students; Hanna Wu, Tanishq Kumar, Liam Patell, Nadia Balzani-Zamir and Indigo Butcher.
