Gratnells, manufacturers and marketers of Britain’s best known and most widely used range of storage systems and trays in schools, is encouraging Science Technicians worldwide to enter its prestigious Science Technician of the Year awards 2016/2017.
Sponsored by Gratnells and supported by a host of well-known Science equipment suppliers including Phillip Harris, Timstar and SciChem, the Science Technician of the Year awards 2016/2017 are designed to give these specialists the recognition they deserve, with prizes worth over £2,000.
Now in its eight successive year, the competition has been extended to include an International category and is open to Science Technicians in secondary schools, colleges and academies across the world. Entrants much be 18 years old, with at least two-years’ experience in full or part time employment.
The judging panel, consisting of esteemed industry professionals, will be looking for evidence of individuals who go ‘above and beyond’ in their daily work -Science Technicians who embrace their work, enjoy the challenges and look to offer continuous improvement in the services they deliver.
The winners will receive their awards at the industry’s showcase event – the Association of Science Education (ASE) conference in July 2017.
