Best of the Best is back for the seventh season
Auditions open for children between the ages of 10 and 14
GEMS Education, the world’s leading provider of quality education, has launched the Best of the Best 2016. The talent hunt, which is now in its seventh year aims to discover young talented singers. This year’s competition will be open to all students in the UAE between the ages of 10 and 14.
Auditions for the nation-wide hunt for the next singing sensation will start at Jumeirah College, Dubai on October 1, 2016, from 10 am to 12 pm.
Additional rounds of auditions will be held at:
- Our Own English High School, Al Warqa, on October 2, from 2 pm to 4 pm
- The Millennium School Dubai on October 10, from 2pm to 4 pm
- Cambridge International School Dubai on October 29, from 10 am to 1 pm
The singers from the first rounds will go on to compete in the second round, with the finalists competing for the title of the Best of the Best in early December.
GEMS Education takes great pride in nurturing talent, and providing students with opportunities to grow. The first ever winner of Best of the Best is now working on his own solo album.
“We have seen some wonderful singers take part from all over the U.A.E. in recent years, and 2016 will be no exception, as we look forward to welcoming and supporting emerging young talent from all across the U.A.E.,” says Kevin Oliver, Group Cultural Coordinator for GEMS Education.
In 2015, over 6000 young singers from all over the UAE auditioned by signing country music, jazz, pop, classical and semi-classical and rap and blues.
