Robert Curbeam, former NASA astronaut and current Vice President and Deputy of Space Systems speaks with Year 3 science students from Al Mushrif Primary School in Abu Dhabi. As part of his visit to the UAE for the Dubai Airshow, Curbeam took time out of his schedule to talk to students about the importance of math and science, which are critical skills for pursuing a career in space exploration. After meeting with the class, he addressed an assembly of 450 students from across the six schools of the Aldar Academies network, and took their questions on his experiences as an astronaut.
