23 categories honoured at gala celebration in Dubai, with Huawei showcasing its IdeaHub innovation for education
The UAE’s leading schools, teachers, and education teams were recognised last night at the Education Achievement Awards 2025, powered by Huawei, held at Grosvenor House, Dubai. Over 150 educators and leaders gathered to celebrate excellence, innovation, and dedication across 23 award categories, just days after World Teachers’ Day.
Among the biggest winners were North London Collegiate School Dubai, crowned School Team of the Year; GEMS Winchester School Dubai, recognised as Secondary School Team of the Year; and GEMS Founders School Dubai, honoured as Primary School Team of the Year.
The gala dinner was held in collaboration with Huawei, who showcased their latest IdeaHub product, an interactive solution designed to enhance collaboration, inclusivity, and creativity in modern classrooms.
“It was an honour for Huawei to be part of this year’s Education Achievement Awards,” said Charles Shen, Vice President of ICT Marketing and Solution Sales, Huawei Middle East & Central Asia. “We were deeply inspired by the incredible individuals and school teams recognised on stage, whose dedication is shaping the future of education in the UAE. With our IdeaHub solution, Huawei aims to support more collaborative and engaging learning experiences, aligned with the UAE’s vision of a knowledge-driven education system. Tonight’s celebration has reinforced our belief that technology can empower teachers and learners to achieve even greater impact.”
“The Education Achievement Awards were introduced to shine a light on the people within schools that make the education sector in the UAE such a vibrant and successful place,” said Daniel Fewtrell, Managing Director of Stratos Pulse, organiser of the awards. “It was incredible to see a room full of educators – just after World Teachers’ Day – to celebrate their colleagues, and we cannot wait to bring it back next year!”
Winners were selected by a distinguished panel of independent judges with expertise in education, both in the UAE and internationally.
