H.E. lauds examination questions presented to students and school preparedness
His Excellency Dr. Ali Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), visited Grade 12 students at the Darwish bin Karam High School for Boys and the Honain Secondary School For Girls, during their Term 3 Final Mathematics Examinations today.
During the tour, both school principals illustrated detailed information on the different preparations offered that help promote a comfortable examination environment for the Grade 12 students, in addition to presenting them with understandable Mathematics examination questions prepared by ADEC.
ADEC’s Director General praised the concerned Divisions, Regional Offices and School administrations for their devotion and dedication in providing Grade 12 students with a convenient and quiet environment.
The decision to create an ADEC related examination process for Grade 12 students is part of the education council’s aim to equip students with 21st century skills that will enable them to compete globally.
Today, ADEC has also announced its Ramadan Timings for schools. School timings for Kindergarten students will start at 9:00am and run till 11:55am, with 40 minutes class durations and a ten minute break time.
Grades 1 to 11 boys schools will start their day at 8:15am and end at 1:10pm, whereas girl’s schools will operate from 9:00am to 1:55pm. There will be seven periods for all schools, with a ten minute break after the 4th period.
