
Dr. Al Khaili announces that Abu Dhabi will host the Bett Middle East Leadership Forum & Expo in April 2016
The event aims to showcase some of the latest trends and practices in the technology sector
The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) will be hosting more than 1,000 influential education leaders, practitioners and industry experts from across the world during the Bett Middle East Leadership Forum & Expo to be held April 6th to April 7th 2016, where the future of education will be debated and discussed.
His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Al Khaili, Acting Director General at the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), announced that Abu Dhabi will host the Bett Middle East Leadership Forum & Expo, during his visit to London where the Bett 2016 show is being launched from January 20th to 23rd 2016.
“In light of the UAE’s ambitious development plans and long-term education strategy plans, ADEC continues to partner with different stakeholders and industry members to offer students innovative and creative learning experiences with emphasis on Science, emerging technologies, Engineering, Mathematics and entrepreneurship skills, while updating educators with some of the world’s latest trends and practices in education,” said His Excellency.
After a huge turnaround of exhibitors, delegates, ministers, educators and students at the Bett Middle East Conference and Exhibition in October 25th 2011, the education council decided to host Bett Middle East once again, bringing about the most innovative figures in education to share their experience, views, and ideas for shaping the future of education in the Middle East.
As an added value, the Bett Middle East 2016 happens to coincide with ADEC’s exclusive event “Transforming Education Summit (TES) 2016″, where actionable influences on policy, research and practices for transforming education, will be among a few of the topics that will be highlighted and discussed through various influential keynote speakers arriving from different countries across the world.
In his introductory speech about hosting the Bett Middle East Leadership Forum & Expo, Dr. Al Khaili said: “I am delighted to be standing before you today to announce the launch of the Bett Middle East in April 2016 in Abu Dhabi, which the ADEC takes tremendous pride in organizing for the second time in a row as part of its continued commitment to stay aligned with long-term transformation of 21st century education.”
