Twenty GEMS students awarded with Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance
Two GEMS families also honoured with prestigious Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Family
10 pupils will also receive Sharjah Educational Award for Outstanding Performance
The outstanding students include five students from GEMS Our Own English High School, Sharjah; four from The Millennium School, Dubai; five from Our Own English High School, Dubai; and one student each from Our Own English High School, Al Ain, The Winchester School, Dubai, GEMS Winchester School, Abu Dhabi, The Kindergarten Starters, GEMS Millennium School, Sharjah and Jumeirah College, Dubai.
The family of Vinod Kumar Pillai, from The Millennium School, Dubai; and the family of Dr. Sangeeth Ibrahim, from Our Own English High School Boys’ Branch, Sharjah, are two families who have been recognized with the Sheikh Hamdan Distinguished Family Award.
The Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance has been designed to recognise academic achievements, talents, skills and leadership abilities across a variety of disciplines.
Additionally, 10 GEMS students – including five from Our Own English High School Sharjah, Girls; two from Our Own English High School Sharjah, Boys and one each respectively from Our Own English High School Dubai, Our Own English High School Fujairah and The Kindergarten Starters- have also been awarded the Sharjah Educational Award for Outstanding Performance. They will be honoured at a ceremony to be held on April 21.
